Guard harness
A guard harness is a model that consists of two rings connected at the dog's sternum and back. To properly size the harness, it's necessary to gather four measurements, as shown in the graphic on the right.
Tips:
-make sure the dog is in a natural position when taking measurements,
-when taking measurements, leave a little slack so that you can easily insert two fingers between the tape and the dog,
-the harness should allow free movement, but should not move during movement,
-a common mistake is to take too small a dimension A. We measure it correctly at the widest point, at the level of the solar plexus, and not in the middle of the neck as in the case of a collar.
Collar with buckle
The collar size is measured around the center of the dog's neck. It's important that it's neither too tight nor too loose. A properly fitted collar fits snugly against the dog's body, but you can easily slip two fingers underneath.
